Kent

The Kent Bar Mess is one of the oldest and most well-established Messes on Circuit. At present, its membership numbers about 300. Within the County, there are important centers at Maidstone (Crown and County - Resident Judge His Honour Judge Patience QC), Canterbury (same - Resident Judge His Honour Judge Webb) and Medway (County).

There is an annual dinner, normally held in the Temple in late November/early December; and an annual cricket match against the local solicitors, normally held in August (any enquiries to the Junior).
